Marina Stognieva's Art Journal
Travels through the eyes of an artist, remarkable places and the paintings inspired by personal experiences.
Welcome to my Art Journal. Here I share stories about the places that have inspired my paintings and shaped my artistic journey.
When I travel, I look beyond famous landmarks. I pay attention to light, colours, architecture, nature and the unique atmosphere that makes every place unforgettable.
Sometimes inspiration comes from the endless coastline of the North Sea. Sometimes it is found in an artist's home surrounded by tropical gardens, a historic cathedral, a museum or a quiet English street.
Over time these experiences become sketches, colour palettes, ideas and eventually complete paintings. This journal is not only about travelling—it is about the creative journey from discovering a place to transforming it into art.
Every place leaves its mark on an artist's memory, and eventually on the canvas.
