Ukrainian artist Marina Stognieva in New York

Each time this city opens up for me in a new way, surprising and provoking admiration. After participating in the exhibition at the " Mitets" art gallery, I had already planned a trip to the USA, meetings were scheduled with the same creative people as I was. The city met on a hot July day, and, as always, circled cultural events in a round dance. I love visiting exhibitions, art centers. In the very first days I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a visit to which astounded me. And this is completely difficult to do, because I am a long-time traveler, I have already visited more than 30 countries, I have already seen a lot. But the Metro is a cultural shock! The architectural design of the building and expositions, the huge historical heritage and its presentation in the halls filled with light, sculptures and masterpieces of world painting. Monet, Gauguin, Renoir, Henri Latour did not leave me indifferent.

It was also interesting to visit one of the districts of the city - Soho. Until the mid-80s of the 20th century, art galleries were located here, then Soho turned into a place of pilgrimage for the artistic bohemia of New York.
