Not a conventional tourist route, but a living artistic journey through colour, memory and personal perception.
“Picturesque Guide to Ukraine” is a large-scale original project by Ukrainian artist Marina Stognieva. Each chapter is devoted to a different region with its own character, culture and atmosphere.

The Future of the Project
From a Digital Journey to a Printed Book
In the future, the project materials are intended to become the foundation of a large illustrated publication in which every region of Ukraine will be presented through painting, cultural features, fascinating facts and the artist’s personal notes.

Collaboration and Future Publication
“Picturesque Guide to Ukraine” is open to collaboration with galleries, museums, cultural organisations, curators and exhibition organisers.
The artist is also seeking a publishing partner for the preparation and publication of the future book in Ukraine and internationally. Proposals for publishing, presentations, exhibitions and cultural collaborations are welcome.

Support from art patrons helps create new paintings, develop regional chapters, prepare exhibitions and work towards the future printed publication.
