Luhansk region is located in the east of Ukraine — a land of wide steppes, soft light and a quiet atmosphere that reveals itself through subtle details. It is a place with a rich history and culture, shaped by its landscape and the people who call it home.
The project “Picturesque Guide to Ukraine” is an artistic journey through the regions of Ukraine, expressed through painting, conveying the atmosphere, mood and inner essence of each place. It is not only about landscapes, but also about the feelings they evoke.
Luhansk holds a special place within this project — it is the homeland of Ukrainian artist Marina Stognieva, the author of the project. That is why this series is filled not only with the beauty of nature, but also with warm and grateful memories, personal impressions and a deep emotional connection to the region.
Each painting conveys the light of these places, their silence, space and spirit.
