The Story Behind the Painting

"Spring Blossom" is an original painting by Ukrainian artist Marina Stognieva, created in 2024 using oil paints on professional 300 g/m² paper. The artwork is part of the author's long-term cultural project "Picturesque Guide to Ukraine" and is dedicated to the Vinnytsia Region, famous for its flowering orchards, fertile landscapes, and beautiful spring scenery.

The painting captures one of the most enchanting moments of the Ukrainian spring, when fruit trees burst into blossom and nature awakens after winter. The flowering canopy fills almost the entire composition with luminous white, delicate pink, turquoise, and soft blue brushstrokes, creating the feeling of sunlight dancing through thousands of blossoms.
