The Story Behind the Painting

“Vinnytsia Tower” is an original oil painting on paper by Ukrainian artist Marina Stognieva, created in 2024. The artwork is part of the author's cultural project “Picturesque Guide to Ukraine”, an artistic journey through every region of the country. This painting is dedicated to the Vinnytsia Region and portrays one of the city's most recognizable architectural landmarks.

Rising high above the surrounding trees and historic buildings, the tower immediately becomes the visual focus of the composition. At its summit, the Ukrainian flag waves proudly against a dramatic sky, adding a contemporary symbol of identity, resilience, and national spirit to this historic cityscape.
