The Story of the Painting

“Kyiv Autumn” is an original painting by Ukrainian artist Marina Stognieva, created in 2025. The work is painted in oil on canvas, measures 25 × 30 cm, and is presented unframed.

This painting conveys the quiet atmosphere of an autumn day in a Kyiv park. A narrow light-coloured path leads deeper into the landscape, between trees painted in golden, ochre, orange, and green tones. The soft sky and free painterly manner create the feeling of a light autumn mist.

The composition is built in such a way that the path gradually draws the viewer inward. It becomes a kind of invitation to walk through the autumn park, leaving the city’s noise behind and immersing yourself in the calm of nature.
